There were a few scratches on some items, which were insured as part of the package. The insurance claim was resolved quite fast. I’m happy with their service and totally recommend them.

They gave you a moving consultant who was both the estimator and the point person through the whole process and mine was great. The estimate ended up being exactly what I was charged. The movers took great care of all my possessions .Throughout the move they were in constant contact with me and followed up with any questions I had via in a 24hrs or less. Everything arrived just how it left.
Went with the full packing and moving service from LDM. Had a lot to pack and the rate never shifted from what they told me in the beginning, which seems to happen a lot with moving. Guys worked quick and clean. They even dusted off and cleaned a few things before wrapping and packing. No damages or anything negative moments. They showed up early too! LDM showed up on time & provided a good experience for the whole move. We have a two floor apartment with a winding stair case we assumed we be an issue. The movers really made it happen. They had to take a part a few pieces of furniture to get it all down but they worked smart. The movers were dedicated and clearly knew what they were doing. We relocated to Portland and had no issues.

It was great doing business with LDM. Movers did an amazing job helping us move out of our office and into a new building a city away. We had to downsize things due the Covid-19 pandemic and get a smaller space. Thankfully these guys were still able to honor our move. Moving to me is a very essential service. Their team packed all of our electric equipment with care, all in one day. The move took place the following day. When they arrived at the new location we were really surprised what they did next. Instead of jus placing thing in the rooms we wanted. They took it step further and helped us organize our new space. They rotated furniture, put computers and printers on desks and took care of some trash for us as well. Such a great ending to the move.

The first known people to settle in the Eugene area were known as the Kalapuyans. However, according to archeologists, the ancestors of the Kalapuyans may have been in the area for as long as 10,000 years. In late 18th and early 19th century, French fur traders settled in the Willamette Valley. Towards the middle of the 19th century, a settler by the name of Eugene Franklin Skinner arrived with over 1200 other colonists. It is his name that the city today bears. He built the first Anglo cabin, as advised by the Kalapuyans, on a high ground to avoid flooding. The building served as a trading post and was registered as an official post office in 1850.
Today, Eugene is home to more than 150,000 residents. It has grown significantly since its early days, and it continues to expand.
